Grappos is getting hammered.

Sledgehammer Wine is a new brand that we've been working with for a few months. They make two wines - a cab sauv and zinfandel. Grappos isn't privy to their business strategy, but we know that they are doing a great job of managing the brand's social media presence because they are practically melting our servers with searches.To put it in perspective, when I saw how many searches were coming in, I contacted the client to make sure something wasn't wrong. Turns out, they're just executing a brilliant social media campaign and breaking every Grappos record, month after month.

I started to dig into what they were doing and it seems pretty simple. Lots of fun events and entertaining Twitter/Facebook posts that seem like theyre coming from your crazy friend who's always ready for mischief. And I love it.

So they're great Tweeters - a lot of people are. But they're also using every tool Grappos offers. By putting a store locator everywhere their fans hang out, they make it easy for consumers to find their wines immediately at a local retailer.

It takes talent and a consistent effort to get results like this, but you can't argue with success.
